Law of Garbage Truck

The Law of the Garbage Truck

One day I hopped in a taxi and we took off for the airport. We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right in front of us.

My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!

The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us!

My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy. And I mean, really friendly. So I asked, “Why did you just do that? This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!”

This is when my taxi driver taught me what I now call, “The Law of the Garbage Truck.”

He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage (frustration, anger, and disappointment, etc.). As their garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they’ll dump it on you.

Don’t take it personally. Just smile, wave, wish them well, and move on. Don’t take their garbage and spread it to other people at work, at home, or on the streets.

The bottom line is that successful people do not let garbage trucks take over their day. Life’s too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so… love the people who treat you right & pray for the ones who don’t. Life is ten percent what you make it and ninety percent how you take it!

Presently my situation is like the dew that neither is hanging on the tree nor is on the wet.ground. Amidst the chaos of mind, my thoughts wander into jungles of expressionless blank misery weeping and suffering from the agony of the brutalities of the quest for peace. My mother does not want me nor does my wife. Death does not need me nor does the Supreme Protector of all races in question across the entire universe. I feel trapped within the dunes of sands again quiet suffocated by the bland emotions.
I call upon for His help but my Lord is still silent which seems to be a big sign for worry. None has helped me except the Supreme in such situations. I stand still and look upon to the blue sky of peace just to find myself still perturbed with the problems lost in the jungles of my thoughtful mind.
Asking myself over and over again whether I have been a good son or husband, I find the answer to be highly disturbing. Probably, something I wouldn't want to face.

A Book called Happiness?

Yes. I read a book named "Happiness-A Guide to Developing Life's Most Important Skill" - By Matthieu Ricard. You can check his blog here. Lovely book indeed. Matthieu Ricard, a biologist-turned-Buddhist writes that that one doesn't require a set of materials to be happy. One has to accept the facts of life, be a positive thinker and make sure that he/she is happy all the times.
I am a staunch follower of Law Of Attraction and after a small analysis, I could find that yes, if one practices the Law Of Attraction on Happiness, happiness is sure to come to that person irrespective of the situation he/she is facing.

So, you see the saying "Don't worry. Be happy." is worth a saying. Practice it and live a positive prosperous and happy life!!
